Daniel Galinkin

Daniel Galinkin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Machine Learning Engineering at iFood since January 2020, Daniel leads the machine learning platform team, focusing on the reliable and efficient deployment of machine learning models. Prior experience includes co-founding Hekima, where Daniel worked as a Data Engineer and Data Scientist on enterprise-level consulting projects, emphasizing product development and feature engineering for the Simplicidata product. Daniel's research background includes roles as a Graduate Researcher and Undergraduate Researcher at UFMG, exploring machine learning and information retrieval. Daniel holds a Master of Computer Applications in Activity Recognition and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, as well as a certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online.
