Greg Perry is an experienced leader in global health and public policy, currently serving as the Assistant Director General at the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) since February 2018, where Greg focuses on Africa Engagement and Alliance Building strategies. Previously, Greg held the position of Executive Director at Medicines Patent Pool from 2013 to 2017, creating innovative models to enhance access to medicines for people living with HIV and HCV in developing countries. As the founding Director General of Medicines for Europe from 1999 to 2013, Greg transformed the market and regulatory environment for generic and bio-similar medicines in Europe. Greg's earlier roles include managing director at Westminster Europe and ownership of a European political consultancy that established the European Generic-medicines Association. With a solid academic background, including degrees from the University of Birmingham and Cornell University, Greg combines extensive policy and leadership experience with a commitment to improving health access and innovation.
