Valentine Lanfumey

Valentine Lanfumey is a highly skilled scientific equipment engineer at IFREMER, where responsibilities include the definition and integration of scientific equipment on French Oceanographic Fleet research vessels and the Polar POD platform. Previously, Valentine served as a Technical Project Manager for the West Africa Coastal Areas (WACA-F) Project at SHOM and worked as a hydrographic surveyor at MMT, conducting geophysical and bathymetric surveys for the hydrography and renewable energy sectors. Additionally, Valentine has experience as a marine geologist at IFREMER, contributing to deep-water geohazard assessments offshore Nigeria as part of the ERIG 3D project. Academic qualifications include a Master in Hydrography from ENSTA Bretagne, a Master in Oceanography from Université de Bordeaux, and a two-year degree in Oceanography Environment from Intechmer.
