Laura Dines

Director, Strategic Curriculum at IFS Institute

Laura Dines has a diverse background in instructional design and learning solutions. Laura has over two decades of experience in various roles, including Director of Education at the International Association of Fire Fighters and Deputy Director of TED Courses at TED Conferences. Laura has successfully developed and led teams to design and implement innovative learning experiences, including online and classroom training programs. Laura has also collaborated with subject matter experts and producers to create interactive online content for organizations such as PBS and National Geographic. Currently, Laura is the Director of Strategic Curriculum at IFS Institute, where they lead the development and implementation of workshops and conferences globally, focusing on expanding learning opportunities beyond mental health professionals.

Laura Dines obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Bates College from 1987 to 1991. Laura later pursued further education and completed a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology at George Mason University in 1999. Additionally, Laura obtained a certification in Project Management (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2008.
