Sami Lappalainen

Sami Lappalainen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in system engineering and IT consulting. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at IFS since August 2022, Sami has been a member and Chief Executive Officer at Vinde Coop since February 2012. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at VRETA Simulation Ltd. from May 2016 to December 2021, Documentation Specialist at Etteplan from January 2019 to March 2020, and Owner of ZAS Data Applications Consults from March 2000 to July 2018, which focuses on designing IT systems for various business scales in Finland. Additional experience includes serving as chairman for Private Entrepreneurs on Kimito Island and working as a User Experience Specialist at Idean Research Ltd. Sami holds a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science with a focus on Usability from the University of Helsinki and is currently pursuing further education at Turku University of Applied Sciences.
