Scott Helmer

Scott J Helmer has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles, currently serving as President of Aerospace & Defense at IFS since January 2011. Prior to this, Scott held positions as COO and CFO at Mxi Technologies, as well as CFO and Vice President of Finance & Administration at the same company. Scott has also worked as an Independent Finance & Business Consulting Professional and served as Chief Financial Officer at Galazar Networks. Other notable roles include Vice President of Finance at ActivCard and Alcatel Canada, and Vice President of Corporate Finance at Newbridge Networks. Scott began professional career at BDO Dunwoody (Ward Mallette) in various roles. Scott holds a Chartered Accountant designation and a degree from the University of Waterloo, where education was completed from 1990 to 1995.
