Erran Mark Thomas

Erran Mark Thomas, C3PRMP, has a strong background in risk management and vendor services. Erran Mark is currently serving as the Director of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Reporting at IGM Financial Inc. Prior to this, they held various roles at Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), including being the Third Party Risk and Vendor Management Program Owner, Senior Procurement and Vendor Management Program Lead, and Program Director/Senior Vendor Manager. Erran Mark also has experience at Manulife Financial, where they served as the Director of Global Resourcing and Strategic Vendor Management, as well as roles at CPAS Systems Inc., George Weston Limited, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, OPSEU Pension Trust, and OPB (Ontario Pension Board).

Erran Mark Thomas, C3PRMP, has a diverse education history. Erran Mark holds a certification in Building a Sustainable Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program from Marcus Evans Group in 2023. In 2022, they completed a course in Third Party Risk Management from Sig University and obtained a certification as a Certified Third Party Risk Management Professional (C3PRMP) from the Sourcing Industry Group (SIG). Erran also completed a program in Business Process Management at IBM in 2011 and a Leadership program in Organizational Leadership at Manulife Financial in the same year. Erran Mark obtained a Management certification from Peek Performance Systems in 2008. In terms of their academic qualifications, Erran holds a degree in Psychology with a specialization in Criminology from Carleton University, which they obtained between 1989 and 1994. Erran Mark has also completed several courses and programs related to pension plans and benefits administration, including a CEBS course from Ryerson University in 2007 and a Pension Plan Administration Course from Humber College in 2000. In 1999, they completed a course in Pension and Benefits Administration from Seneca Polytechnic, and in 1998, they obtained the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification from the Canadian Securities Institute of Canada.
