Xavier Sagues, MBA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Xavier is currently serving as the Director of Planning and Support at IGM Financial Inc. since March 2021. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at the National Bank of Canada, where they held the position of Senior Manager, Wealth Management, Strategic Initiatives & Business Partnerships from April 2017 to November 2020. Xavier also worked as the Senior Manager of Operations in Financing and Collection at the National Bank of Canada from September 2009 to April 2017. Earlier in their career, Xavier worked at Desjardins, where they took on various roles including Wealth Management Strategic Senior Advisor from July 2007 to September 2009, Wealth Management & Financing Manager from July 2004 to July 2007, and Client Service and Administration Manager from July 2000 to July 2004.

Xavier Sagues, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive field of study at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2006 to 2008. Prior to this, they pursued management modules in Marketing and sales management at HEC Montréal from 2004 to 2005. In 1996 to 2000, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Business and marketing from the University of Ottawa.
