Fabio Ticozzelli

Fabio Ticozzelli has extensive work experience in various roles related to research and development, laboratory management, and project management.

From October 2020 to the present, Ticozzelli has been working as the R&D and Technical Director EMEA at IGM Resins. In this role, they are responsible for determining, prioritizing, and executing key new product development projects for the photoinitiators business, with a focus on European opportunities. Fabio leads the European R&D, Development, Analytical, and Application Teams and collaborates with cross-functional departments to deliver innovative solutions.

From March 2015 to October 2020, Ticozzelli served as the Head of Laboratory in the QC and R&D Department at Valcambi. In this position, they led a technical department focused on analytic chemistry and materials investigation. Fabio enhanced and drove R&D initiatives to support continuous improvement in process technology and the precious metals business. Fabio also worked closely with the executive committee to define the company's technology roadmap.

Before Valcambi, Ticozzelli worked at Henkel from 2003 to 2015 in various roles. From April 2014 to February 2015, they were a Global Innovation Project Manager, responsible for streamlining projects according to the global business strategy. Fabio successfully directed a portfolio of eight strategic projects and implemented a new concept of project structure for innovation.

From April 2012 to March 2014, Ticozzelli served as an R&D Project Manager, heading the reactive extrusion department and leading product/process technology research. Fabio consolidated extrusion technology for in-house manufacturing and developed innovative thermoplastic adhesives.

From September 2003 to March 2012, Ticozzelli worked as an R&D Project Manager in the Adhesives/Coating Research division at Henkel. Fabio delivered polymers/process technology R&D and PD projects for the industrial adhesive business, managing both laboratory and industrial-scale innovations.

Before Henkel, Ticozzelli worked as a Chemist/Technical Service Engineer at Henkel Loctite from April 2001 to August 2003. Prior to that, they worked as a Laboratory Chemist at ARPA Lombardia from April 2000 to March 2001.

Fabio Ticozzelli holds an Executive Master's degree in Strategic Management of R&D from MIP Politecnico di Milano, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Milano from 1992 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in Leadership and Team management from Henley Business School, as well as in Open innovation & R&D's competitive strategies from IESE Business School.
