Shuyi Deng

Shuyi Deng has a diverse work experience that spans several organizations and roles. In 2019, they worked as a Research Analyst Intern at The Brattle Group. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Research Assistant at the Department of Economics, UC Berkeley. In 2020, they joined The Brattle Group as a Research Analyst, a position they held until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Business Analyst, Technical Project Management at Ignite (formerly Tendermint).

Shuyi Deng completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2016 to 2019. In 2022, they enrolled in The University of Texas at Austin to pursue a Master of Science in Data Science, which is expected to be completed in 2024. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including CFA Level I from the CFA Institute in January 2022, Tableau 2020 A-Z: Hands-On Tableau Training for Data Science from Udemy in August 2021, and NYU Fundamentals of Global Sports Management from Yellowbrick Fundamentals of Global Sports Management in April 2020. Shuyi also holds deferred admission to the MBA program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business through the Accelerated Access Program.
