Curly Otto

Curly Otto began their career in 2011 as a Reservist in the US Army. In 2016, they founded Simply Because Clothing. In 2022, they began working as a Recruitment Consultant at Ignite Recruitment, a crowdsourced technology platform better serving the staffing market. At Ignite Recruitment, they blended industry SMEs, top recruiters, and best in class technology (machine learning and automation matching tools) to create a better hiring marketplace.

Curly Otto is currently enrolled in Harvard University, pursuing a degree in Web Programming in the field of Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Curly previously attended Cornell University in 2021 for Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. From 2010 to 2014, they attended Clark Atlanta University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they attended the University of the Virgin Islands from 2008 to 2009 for Business Administration and Management, General. Curly has also obtained a number of certifications, including Business Model to Business Planner from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Operating Systems and Google IT Professional from Google, IT Security from Google, Web Programming from Harvard University, The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking from Google, Technical Support Fundamentals from Google, System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services from Google, CPR Certification and First Aid Certification from the US Army, Bloodborne Pathogens from Pratt Industries, and CPR & AED from Pratt Industries.
