Sam Retallack

Sam Retallack is an experienced Human Resources and Sustainability professional, currently serving as the Chief People and Sustainability Officer at IGO Ltd since March 2012, with previous roles including Chief People Officer and Head of People and Culture. Additionally, Sam holds a position on the People and Culture Advisory Board at AREEA since January 2023 and serves as a Director at Youth Focus from November 2022. Past committee involvement includes membership at the WA Mining Club from July 2019 to June 2021. With a foundational career in Human Resources consulting at JustHR and various managerial roles at Q-Vis and Ansett Airlines, Sam brings a comprehensive background in leadership and organizational capability. Educationally, Sam is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Health Science from Edith Cowan University, alongside a Diploma in Applied Science from Curtin University.
