Amber Mackenzie

Amber MacKenzie has a diverse range of work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics. Amber is currently serving as the Director of Business Intelligence at IHA since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Michigan where they held various roles, including Director of Data and Analytics, Assistant Director of Business Intelligence, Database Services Manager, and Database Administrator Lead. Amber also has experience working at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center as a Lead Database Administrator and a Project Manager. Amber'sresponsibilities included designing and implementing data solutions, leading teams, delivering business intelligence reports and visualizations, supporting database services, and managing database security. Amber has expertise in Oracle technology, including RAC, Application Server, and Dataguard, and is certified in Oracle DBA versions 8i, 9i, and 10g. Amber has also demonstrated skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and developing administration scripts for database maintenance and monitoring.

Amber MacKenzie has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology and English Language and Literature from Eastern Michigan University. Amber also studied Business Administration at the University of Michigan.
