Barb Brown

Barb Brown, MSML, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning several positions within the field of human resources and healthcare. Barb began their career at IHA Health Services Corp. in 1991 as a Medical Assistant before transitioning into the role of Employee Health & Safety Coordinator in 1999. From 2010 to 2021, Barb served as a Human Resources Generalist at IHA, gaining valuable experience in various HR functions. In October 2021, they were promoted to Associate Director, Human Resources at IHA. Additionally, from 2018 to 2021, Barb held the position of Manager, Human Resources and Customer Service at IHA Health Services Corp. With their extensive background in HR and healthcare, Barb brings a wealth of expertise to any organization.

Barb Brown holds a Master's of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Human Resources/Business from Washtenaw Community College from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the SHRM institute in August 2015 and the PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute in August 2013.
