Kieran Donahue is the current Chief Marketing Officer at IHOP. In this role, Kieran is responsible for driving IHOP’s marketing and culinary strategies, including oversight of advertising, digital innovation, communications, menu development and overall brand experience. Prior to joining IHOP, Kieran served as Vice President, Brand, Digital, Marketing - Americas at Marriott International. In this role, Kieran was responsible for Marriott’s $21 billion marketing strategy in the Americas, including loyalty programs, analytics, brand management, field marketing, digital marketing, social media, promotions, partnerships, public relations, and crisis communications. Kieran also led the post-acquisition integration of Marriott and Starwood guest loyalty programs, which grew member room nights by 16%. During Kieran’s tenure at Marriott, the company experienced 4-year compound annual revenue growth of 18% in franchise fees, management fees and sales at owned and leased properties. Kieran also oversaw brand marketing for Marriott’s $1.4 billion Gaylord Hotels business and drove demand growth that beat targets. Most recently, Kieran has been leading the marketing work-stream on Marriott’s COVID-19 Americas Recovery Team which has developed and implemented first-phase brand, lead generation, guest relations, owner and franchisee relations, and marketing team strategies.
