Opeyemi Akinwande

Opeyemi Akinwande is an experienced professional with a strong background in infection prevention and control, data management, and program support within the health sector. Currently serving as an Implementation Assistant on the SECURE-Nigeria IPC Project at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria, Akinwande focuses on enhancing health system preparedness for infectious diseases. Previous roles include Data/M&E Assistant, Program Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant at the same institute, where responsibilities encompassed data entry and management, program coordination, and laboratory support. Akinwande holds a Master's degree in Health Care Management from Unicaf University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Landmark University.
