ROLE PURPOSE
The Technical Product Owner defines the why, who, and what — why it is worthwhile to develop a product, who it is for, and what features it should contain. The Product Owner owns a product in its entirety and is responsible for strategic and tactical product decisions. The Technical Product Owner plays a crucial role in driving the development and delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business value, and is heavily involved in strategic and technical roadmaps and decision making. This includes defining the purpose behind the technical priorities, who is responsible for what, and when things need to be done. The role is responsible for prioritising and overseeing the businesses technical priorities and ensuring that the internal team can manage their tasks and responsibilities.

ROLE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to define and prioritise product backlog items based on business values and customer needs.
● Articulate and communicate product vision, goals, and requirements to the development team and other stakeholders.
● Create and maintain a well-defined product backlog with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product increments and releases.
● Participate in sprint planning, grooming, review, and retrospective meetings to refine and improve the development process and support the engineering team.
● Active participant in Agile ceremonies.
● Identify user needs and ensure the product meets customer expectations
● Continuously gather feedback from customers and end-users to refine and enhance the product.
● Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the product remains competitive and innovative.
● Provide leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a collaborative and empowered work environment.

SKILLS NEEDED
● In-depth knowledge of Agile software development methodology, such as Scrum or Kanban
● A sound technical understanding of software development
● Ability to balance technical feasibility and business value when making decisions
● Experience in effective prioritization
● Knowledge of user-centred design principles
● Understanding design quality standards
● Ability to work with large / multiple teams

Working Hours: 8am-5pm from Monday to Friday.
