Justin Vorster has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Restaurant Manager at The Toad, where they were responsible for running service, managing wages, and controlling stock. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Operations Manager at Ash Restaurant, overseeing stock control, running lunch service, and managing the wine bar and butchery counter. In 2017, they became the Operations Manager at The Gin Bar, where they handled day-to-day operational needs, managed stock, and ordered supplies. In 2019, they joined Quoin Rock Wines as a Senior Chef Partie, and in 2022, they started working as a Junior Developer at iiDENTIFii.

Justin Vorster attended Rondebosch Boys' High School from 2006 to 2010. Justin then went on to study at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Economics. Afterward, they attended the University of Cape Town from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSci) degree, majoring in English, Law, and Economics.
