Tingyi S. Lin is an accomplished academic and consultant with extensive experience in design and education. Lin serves as an Associate Professor at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology since August 2007, alongside roles as Adjunct Faculty at both National Taiwan University and National Taiwan University of Arts. Lin has consulted independently since 2012, focusing on visual representation, wayfinding, signage design, and design innovation strategies. Additional contributions include board memberships with the International Committee on Design History and Studies, the Taiwan Society of Basic Design and Art, and the IIID International Institute for Information Design. Lin has held a Visiting Scholar position at the University of Chicago and previously worked at National Cheng-Chi University and UW-Madison. The academic background includes two advanced degrees, a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Fine Arts, both obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
