Kuntal Roy

Kuntal Roy is a Faculty Member in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal, since August 2017. Prior to this role, Kuntal Roy served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University from May 2013 to August 2017 and at Cornell University from October 2012 to May 2013. Kuntal Roy earned a PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University between August 2010 and August 2012 and completed a PhD Graduate Student program at Pur from August 2008 to August 2010. Kuntal Roy's academic journey began with a Master of Science (MSc) at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, from September 2006 to August 2008 and includes work experience as an Application Engineer at IBM in mid-2006, followed by roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Interra Information Technologies. Kuntal Roy completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering at Jadavpur University from July 1999 to June 2003.
