Joan Manuel F. Mendoza

Joan Manuel F. Mendoza currently serves as the Head of the Circular Economy and Industrial Sustainability (CEIS) Research Group at Mondragon Unibertsitatea, where roles include being Coordinator and Principal Investigator. Joan's research encompasses various aspects of circular economy, including sustainable design, manufacturing processes, and business model innovation, along with life cycle assessment methodologies. Joan also holds the position of Ikerbasque Research Fellow, focusing on sustainability assessments related to circular economy innovations. Previous experience includes research roles at The University of Manchester, Sostenipra, and TECNALIA, covering eco-design, renewable energy, and environmental impact evaluation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology and several Master's degrees in related fields from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
