Kurt McClung

Kurt McClung is a seasoned professional in world building and narrative design with extensive experience across various companies in the video game and interactive entertainment industries. Currently serving as Co-Founder and World and Narrative Director at HAWKSWELL since August 2021, Kurt leads the development of original intellectual properties. As a founding partner and narrative director at Taliespin, a writing studio established in April 2012, Kurt has contributed to major projects for prominent studios like Ubisoft and Bandai Namco. Additionally, Kurt's roles as World Director at Ikimasho and World Designer at goldilocks studio involve the creation of innovative IPs for VR and video games. Previous positions include lead narrative designer for Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Skull & Bones, and founding partner at Bemused Entertainment Partners, focusing on cross-media IPs for children. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
