Todd Maddox, Ph.D.

Todd Maddox, Ph.D. has 25 years of experience in psychological and brain science. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Cognitive Design & Statistical Consulting, LLC. Todd was also the Chief Data Scientist at Insight Data Solutions, Inc. and a Sports Training Science Advisor at Sports VTS. In 2017, they became the Chief Learning Scientist at IKONA, Inc. and a Learning Scientist/Research Fellow at Amalgam Insights. Todd was also a Science, Sports and Training Correspondent at TechTrends.tech and an Independent Scientific and Neuroscientific Consultant at Cornerstone Research Group, Inc. Additionally, they were an Expert Peer Reviewer for numerous scientific journals and national and international research granting agencies. In 2019, they became an XR Ignite Mentor at XR Ignite Community Hub & Hyper-Accelerator. In 2020, they became the Vice President Research and Development at AppliedVR.

Todd Maddox, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from San Diego State University between 1980 and 1985. Todd then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational and Psychological Science from UC Santa Barbara between 1986 and 1991.
