Ariel Xinyue Liang is currently the Policy Research Senior Manager at ICANN, where they lead projects and facilitate community-wide consultations on domain name policy issues. Prior to ICANN, Ariel worked as a Policy Manager, Policy Senior Specialist, and Policy Specialist at the United Nations. They also served as a Research Assistant at Mitsui & Co., Ltd., monitoring the political economy of the Asia-Pacific region. Ariel holds a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vanderbilt University.
