Woodrow Gandy attended the University of Texas, obtaining his M.D. degree from U.T. Southwestern Medical School and continuing with postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of California Davis and San Francisco. He served as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor Medical Center, Irving before co-founding T-System, Inc., which developed the widely-acclaimed eponymous emergency department information system. He serves on the board of numerous healthcare-related organizations.
