Vaibhav Rai

Vaibhav Rai has a diverse work experience. Vaibhav started their career as a Technical Content Engineer at GeeksforGeeks in February 2019 and worked until July 2019. Vaibhav then joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa as a Post Graduate Representative from September 2020 to June 2021. Currently, they are working at IKS Health, where they started in October 2021 as a Senior Data Scientist. In this role, they participated in a Summarization project focused on generating high-quality Clinical Notes from Patient-Doctor conversations. Vaibhav conducted end-to-end fine-tuning of a Transformer-based Language Model, specifically the BART model, for Abstractive Summarization. Vaibhav also developed robust exit criteria to ensure the release of only high-quality notes. In May 2023, Vaibhav got promoted as the Lead Data Scientist at IKS Health.

Vaibhav Rai completed their Btech degree in Information Technology from Jss Academy of Technological Education Noida in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa.
