Nicolás Alonso Muñana

Nicolás Alonso Muñana has held various roles in the past seven years. In 2020, they became the Head of Growth and Product & Strategy at Ilara Health, where they work to bring accurate and affordable diagnostics to patients and primary care providers across peri-urban sub-Saharan Africa. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Senior Associate and Associate at Dataminr. In 2015, they were a US Correspondent and Editorial Fellow at Diario EL PAÍS. Additionally, they interned as a Senior Search Task Force at Ashoka and as an Office of the Secretary General at the Aspen Institute España in 2015 and 2013 respectively. Nicolás also interned as a Political Affairs Intern at the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C. in 2013.

Nicolás Alonso Muñana attended Colegio Internacional Sek-Ciudalcampo from 2008 to 2012, where they earned their International Baccalaureate and Spanish Baccalaureate. Nicolás then attended Georgetown University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
