Deena Jayaraman

Deena Jayaraman has extensive work experience in the field of data and analytics. Deena currently works as a Principal Architect for Data & Analytics at iLink Digital since September 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Data Engineering & Business Intelligence Leader at Morgan Stanley from September 2021 to August 2023. In this role, they led a team of developers and implemented various data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using cloud platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Deena worked at JetBlue Airways as a Manager/Senior Architect for Data & Business Intelligence. During their tenure from November 2019 to September 2021, they managed a team responsible for BI process development and implementation. Deena successfully executed proof-of-concepts for cloud providers and finalized Cosmos DB and Snowflake as the real-time analytics platforms. Deena also implemented Tableau as the main BI tool, aiming to drive a data culture within JetBlue.

Deena's earlier experience includes working at Capgemini as a Business Intelligence Architect at GE Global Operations from January 2007 to November 2015. Deena created BI processes, managed project resources, and delivered solutions to meet project requirements. Deena also held roles as Informatica & Cognos, Data & ELT Architect at GE Energy and Technical Lead at GE Energy and GE Money, where they managed the design and development of enterprise data warehouse frameworks and provided technical expertise in implementing solutions.

Deena Jayaraman completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science Engineering from Anna University in 2006. Deena then pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Deena has obtained various certifications, including the Microsoft Azure AI Engineer certification, Apache Spark Deep Learning Essential Training, Kafka Essential Training, Microsoft Certified: AZ 900 Azure Fundamentals, Azure Kubernetes Service, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, PowerCenter Data Integration 10: Developer, Specialist Certification, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
