Nathaniel Hudson

Nathaniel Hudson is an accomplished academic and educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology since August 2025. Previously, Nathaniel was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago from August 2022 to July 2025 and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Kentucky from August 2017 to May 2022, where responsibilities included teaching Discrete Mathematics and Computer Graphics and Multimedia. Experience at Northern Kentucky University included roles as a PLUS Tutor, Teaching Assistant for Data Structures and Algorithms, Honors Peer Mentor, and Research Assistant, focusing on student retention analysis. Nathaniel's early career featured a role as a Google Student Ambassador and software engineering in various capacities, including web development and graphic design. Nathaniel holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and a BS in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University.
