Virgil Bistriceanu

Virgil Bistriceanu is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in consulting, education, and technology leadership. As President of theSleepless, Inc. since June 2001, Virgil provides unconventional consulting focused on the value of time. Concurrently, Virgil has served as an Instructor of Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology, teaching various subjects including Computer Architecture and Information Security since 1994. As Co-founder and CTO of Sift Healthcare from January 2016 to October 2019, Virgil contributed to transforming healthcare analytics by optimizing data use. Previous roles include CTO at Centro, where Virgil played a key role in scaling revenue, and Director at United Airlines. Early career highlights include serving as CTO and Co-founder of MyPoints. Virgil holds a Ph.D. program in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MSEE in Electronics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
