Mike Anderson has a diverse work experience. Mike started their career in 2006 as a Staff Engineer at ARA and worked there until 2011. Mike then joined Illinois Rocstar as a Research Scientist in 2011. Currently, they are employed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Senior Research Scientist since 2016.

Mike Anderson has a strong educational background in engineering. Mike obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1999 and 2003. Mike continued their studies and earned a Master's Degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2006.
