Mike Anderson

Mike Anderson has a diverse work experience. Mike started their career in 2006 as a Staff Engineer at ARA and worked there until 2011. Mike then joined Illinois Rocstar as a Research Scientist in 2011. Currently, they are employed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Senior Research Scientist since 2016.

Mike Anderson has a strong educational background in engineering. Mike obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1999 and 2003. Mike continued their studies and earned a Master's Degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2006. Mike then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Mexico School of Engineering from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degrees, Mike Anderson also holds a certification in Heterogeneous Parallel Programming, which they obtained from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in March 2014.
