Gianluca Ruggiero

Gianluca Ruggiero is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of IT at ITW since May 2021, Gianluca oversees the IT functions for Specialty Products while collaborating with Division leaders on strategic planning and operational IT deployment. Prior to this role, Gianluca co-founded and managed Syscons North America Inc., focusing on IT transformation in sectors such as Food & Beverage and Pharma. Previous positions include IT Director at Fintyre S.p.A., IT Process Integration Manager at Volkswagen of America, and multiple IT management roles at Pirelli, where responsibilities encompassed governance, infrastructure innovation, and project management. Gianluca holds advanced degrees in Management in Information & Communication Technology and Sport Management, along with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics and Robotics.
