Ishani Surjoo

Ishani Surjoo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ishani began their career at AngloGold Ashanti in 2003 as a Metallurgist in Training. Ishani then joined Rand Refinery Limited in 2004 as a Metallurgist before moving on to Accenture in 2006, where they worked as a Manager for eight years. In 2014, Ishani joined Absa as a Strategic Sourcing Consultant, and in 2016, they joined Illovo Sugar Africa as a Commodity Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Procurement Excellence Head at Illovo Sugar Africa.

Ishani Surjoo attended Wits University from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a BSc (Engineering) degree in Metallurgy. Their focus was on Metallurgical Engineering during their time at the university.
