Robert K. Zurawin, MD has a long history of experience in the medical field. From 1970 to 1995, they were a former student at Carnegie Mellon University and a faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine. This includes assistance in engineering design, funding, submission to the FDA, and the eventual development of a network for clinical trials as well as sales and training of end-users (surgeons). From 2010 to 2015, they were the President and CEO of the Texas Institute for Gynecologic Research and Education, providing international consulting, training and educational services to bring the latest surgical techniques and educational skills to a global market through an extensive national and international medical and diplomatic network. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, they were a Senior Medical Consultant at Memic Innovative Surgery and at illumigyn.

Robert K. Zurawin, MD began their educational journey in 1966 at Eastchester High School, where they graduated in 1970. Robert K. then attended Carnegie Mellon University, earning a BS in Psychology in 1974. Following this, they attended Baylor College of Medicine, where they completed an MD with honors in 1977. Robert K. then completed a Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine from 1978 to 1982. In December 1984, they were Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additionally, in December 1977, they obtained a Texas State Medical License from the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
