Julio Manso Merinero

Julio Manso Merinero has extensive experience in the field of sales and marketing, particularly in the digital industry. Julio currently holds the position of VP of Sales & Marketing Spain at illumin (AcuityAds Inc.), a decision science company. In this role, Julio utilizes their expertise to empower businesses in making smarter decisions.

In addition, Julio is a Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors at IAB Spain, starting in 2021.

Prior to their current positions, Julio served as the Sales & Marketing Managing Director at ADman Media, starting in 2011. Julio was also the CEO of UNUSUAL WONDER, a leading creative agency specializing in digital special actions, from 2009 to 2011.

Before that, Julio worked as the Managing Director at Mediacom Interaction from 2007 to 2009, and as the Director General UM Interactive at Universal McCann from 2006 to 2007.

Julio started their career at Microsoft as a Sales Manager for MSN, holding the role from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of NetThink from 1998 to 2000, and the Director General and Partner at BrandMedia from 1995 to 1998.

Julio Manso Merinero completed a Curso Superior in Compra/Venta programática y Data at IAB SPAIN in the year 2016. In 2008, they completed a Programa avanzado in HABILIDADES AVANZADAS PARA DIRECTIVOS from IE Business School. Their undergraduate education was at Colegio Universitario de Segovia, where they obtained a Licenciado degree in Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas from 1990 to 1995.
