Kugaprakash Visagamani

Kugaprakash Visagamani has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they are the Director of Platform Engineering at Illumio, where they are responsible for managing R&D teams across different locations and leading various aspects of platform engineering, including roadmap planning and platform modernization.

Prior to their current role, Kugaprakash held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at MobileIron, a software provider specializing in mobile device management and enterprise mobility management.

Kugaprakash also has experience in the security and compliance domain, having worked as a Senior Director of Development at CloudPassage, where they oversaw the development of projects for cloud infrastructure security and compliance requirements.

Furthermore, Kugaprakash has held engineering and management positions at Infoblox Inc, Tellabs, Ajilon Consulting, Ciena Corporation, ObjectMart/ONI Systems/Ciena, and Ramco Systems, gaining expertise in areas such as customer engineering, team management, application development, and system architecture.

Kugaprakash Visagamani completed their Bachelor's in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they hold certifications such as Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance and Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
