Somnath Pal

Somnath Pal is an accomplished Art Director at ReDefine since January 2021, with extensive experience in animation and design. As an independent Animation Filmmaker, Somnath wrote and directed the short film 'Death of a Father,' produced by Royal Stag Barrel Select and Chaitanya Tamhane. Freelancing in illustration, animation, and design since June 2013, Somnath also served as Production Designer for the live-action film 'Court' and contributed to ACK Media's first theatrical motion picture, "Sons of Ram," in various roles including Associate Director (Creative) and Senior Story Artist. Additional past work includes being a Pre-Production Artist at Zee Network and a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies. Somnath holds an M. Des. in Animation from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College. Currently, Somnath is working on an episodic series with Cartoon Network.
