Andrés Benedicto has a diverse work experience in the media and production industry. Andrés currently holds the position of Director of International Partnerships & Sports Content at IMAGO, where they are responsible for acquiring and managing international sports photo and video content, developing international strategies, and negotiating partnerships. Prior to this, they worked at Ruptly as a Senior Sports Producer, overseeing the coverage of sports breaking news and live events. Andrés also served as a USA Correspondent, coordinating personnel, planning breaking news coverage, and overseeing the editorial process. Andrés has also worked as a News Producer at Ruptly and as a Production Assistant at Story House Productions. Andrés has experience in shooting, editing, and post-production of cultural and music-related content from their time at Deutsche Presse Agentur. Additionally, they worked as a Production Assistant at Golpe de Efecto Productions.
Andrés Benedicto has a diverse education history. From 1994 to 2007, they attended Colegio Sagrado Corazón Chamartín, where they studied social sciences. Andrés then went on to St. Anne's School from 2000 to 2005, focusing on English language. In 2007, Benedicto pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, specializing in communication and media studies, which they completed in 2011. In 2011, they participated in an international exchange program (Erasmus) at the University of Münster, where they studied communications sciences and journalism. Later, in 2013, they attended Berklee College of Music for a brief period to explore music production through an Introduction to Music Production program.
