Data Center Engineer - Team Lead at IMC Trading

Brett Venhuizen has a strong background in data center engineering and infrastructure. Brett began their career as a System Administrator at Fitzsimmons Hospital Services in 2001. In 2007, they joined Cerner Corporation as a System Engineer. In 2008, they moved on to Trading Technologies, where they played a key role in planning and building out data centers, creating standards for TTnet data centers, and providing VMware ESX administration and support. Brett joined IMC Trading in 2014 as a Data Center Engineer - Team Lead. Additionally, Brett served as the Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Village of Alsip from 2009 to 2018.

Brett Venhuizen attended DeVry University from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Networks and Communication Management with a focus on Networking. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in data center engineering and infrastructure from IDCA - International Data Center Authority in December 2015. Brett also achieved certifications in data center operations from the International Data Center Authority in the same year. Brett Venhuizen has an additional certification in ITIL FOUNDATIONS V3, but the institution and the year of obtaining it are unknown.
