Leah Hanson has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Leah started their career in 2007 at Legend Brands, where they began as an HR Generalist and was later promoted to Senior HR Generalist. During their time at Legend Brands, Leah managed employee recruiting and benefits, oversaw benefits plan design and reconciliation, and handled claims resolution. Leah also managed the HR budget. In 2013, Leah joined IMCO General Construction, Inc. as the Director of Human Resources. In this role, they built the HR framework and policies for a company with 250 employees in three states. Leah contributed to the overall budget strategy and managed three HR budgets totaling $150,000. Leah created and directed various programs, including onboarding, employment and training, retention, compensation, benefits, and retirement plans.
Leah Hanson has an Associate of Arts - AA degree from Skagit Valley College. Leah also completed an Advanced Executive Leadership Certificate Program from the American Management Association. In addition, Leah obtained a certificate in Washington State Employment Law from Davis Wright Tremaine and completed a program on Assertive Communication Skills for Women from SkillPath.
