Vladimir Pejović

Researcher Project Lead at imec

Vladimir Pejović has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being a Researcher Project Lead at imec since 2018. In this role, they lead a group of researchers and engineers working on a project to develop a new infrared spectral image sensor. Vladimir also simulates and designs nanophotonic devices for various applications. Prior to this, Vladimir worked as a PhD Researcher at imec from 2018 to 2022, where they specialized in developing short-wave infrared photodetectors and image sensors. Vladimir'swork led to significant improvements in the performance of the image sensors. Before joining imec, they had internships at Codingo and Indra, and also worked part-time at Mass Spectrometry Consulting.

Vladimir Pejović has a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Computer Engineering from Univerzitet Crne Gore, which they completed from 2012 to 2016. Vladimir then pursued a Master's Degree in Smart Systems Integration, completing it at Heriot-Watt University from 2016 to 2017. Furthermore, in 2017, they obtained another Master's Degree in Smart Systems Integration from the University of South-Eastern Norway and also completed a Master's degree program at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Currently, Vladimir is pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven, a program that they started in 2018 and is expected to finish in 2023.
