Laurent Joly-Vuillemin

Laurent Joly-Vuillemin is an experienced process innovation professional currently serving as the Process Innovation Director at Imerys since September 2023. Prior to this role, Laurent held various positions including Responsable fabrication at Elkem Silicones from November 2019 to August 2023, and Global Process Manager at Imerys Aluminates from December 2017 to October 2019, where responsibilities included managing a team for strategic Capex projects, industrializing new processes, and enhancing competitiveness across multiple global facilities. Laurent's extensive background includes a significant tenure at Kerneos as Process Manager, where leadership of a community of process engineers and the establishment of a technical center were key achievements. Additional experience spans roles at RHODIA OPERATIONS, Rhodia, and Rhone Poulenc, focusing on process engineering, operational management, and technical improvements. Laurent holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from ENSIC, obtained between 1984 and 1987.
