Derrick Lwatati

Derrick Lwatati has a diverse and extensive work experience. Derrick is currently working as the Commercial Director at IMFact since July 2021. Prior to this, from November 2016 to June 2021, they held the position of General Manager Business Development at Rafiki Microfinance Bank. In August and October 2016, Derrick briefly worked as a Lead Consultant at FINANCE BOX. Derrick also has experience at Sidian Bank, where they served as the Head of Branch Banking from January to August 2016. Before that, from June 2015 to December 2015, they worked as a Senior Regional Manager at Chase Bank Kenya Ltd. At Chase Bank, they also held roles such as Regional Manager, Branch Manager, and Business Team Leader, Technical Lead, and Change Champion from 2010 to 2015. Prior to Chase Bank, Derrick worked as a Branch Manager at K-Rep Bank Limited from July 2007 to October 2010.

Derrick Lwatati attended The Catholic University of Eastern Africa from 1998 to 2002. Derrick earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations.

In 2014, Derrick Lwatati enrolled at the United States International University - Africa, where they completed a Global Executive Masters of Business Management program. Derrick'sspecialization during this program was in Leadership & Strategy.

During the same year, Derrick Lwatati also attended the Strathmore Business School (SBS) for the Program for Management Development. The program focused on Organizational Leadership.

Additionally, in September 2012, Derrick Lwatati obtained certification in Credit and Portfolio Management from the Kenya School of Credit Training.
