Katumbi Mwanzia

Katumbi Mwanzia has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Origination at IMFact since June 2021. In this role, they are responsible for building and enhancing the company's brand in Kenya by identifying selling opportunities for IMFact's working capital solution product to SME clients. The product enables SMEs to purchase additional stock, cater for short-term expenses, or extend credit terms to their clients.

Prior to their current position, Katumbi worked at Vivo Energy from 2014 to 2021. Katumbi held various roles during their tenure, including Fleet Card Sales Manager and General Ledger Assistant. As the Fleet Card Sales Manager, they managed the Shell Card Business activities to ensure growth and profitability, while minimizing bad debt and optimizing working capital requirements. As the General Ledger Assistant, they implemented best practices in account reconciliation and analyzed monthly operational expenses and balance sheets.

Before joining Vivo Energy, Katumbi had an internship at Central Depository & Settlement Corporation (CDSC) Ltd in 2014. Overall, Katumbi's work experience demonstrates their ability to excel in sales, finance, and strategic planning.

Katumbi Mwanzia completed their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from Moi Girls School Nairobi, between 2007 and 2010. Katumbi then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Economics from Strathmore University, graduating in 2015. In 2018-2019, they attended Simon Page to obtain a Chartered Institute of Marketing degree with a specialization in Marketing.
