Victoria Holden has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Victoria is currently working as the Chief Scientific Officer at Imio since July 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Imio, including Vice President of Research & Development from June 2020 to July 2020, Director of Microbiology from October 2019 to June 2020, and Consultant from March 2019 to September 2019.
Before joining Imio, Victoria worked as a Carol Basbaum Memorial Research Fellow at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation from April 2018 to October 2019. Victoria also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dartmouth College from June 2016 to October 2019.
Victoria began their career in research as a PhD Student at the University of Michigan from July 2011 to June 2016. During their doctoral studies, they focused on investigating the host-pathogen interaction during infection with Klebsiella pneumoniae. Additionally, Victoria worked as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where they were responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Immunology and assisting in journal club activities.
Victoria Holden completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Immunology and Infectious Disease at Penn State University from 2007 to 2010. Victoria then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Michigan, where they were enrolled from 2011 to 2016.
