Lutz Kirchrath

Lutz Kirchrath has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Lutz most recently worked at Immagina Biotechnology S.r.l. as the Director of Sales and Business Development starting from April 2020. Prior to that, Lutz held various positions at Tecan Genomics, including Vice President of Global Sales from September 2018 to January 2020, Vice President Sales EMEA from January 2015 to September 2018, Managing Director for Europe and Asia-Pacific from December 2011 to December 2014, and Managing Director for Europe from March 2009 to December 2011. Before joining Tecan Genomics, Lutz worked at Affymetrix UK Ltd as the European Pharmaceutical District Manager from March 2006 to February 2009, European Pharmaceutical Account Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland from April 2005 to March 2006, and Key Account Manager for Northern Germany from April 2000 to April 2005. Lutz also gained experience at Amersham Pharmacia Biotech as the Sales Development Manager Europe from March 1999 to April 2000, and at Pharmacia Biotech as a Specialist for Automated Sequencing and Molecular Biology from January 1995 to February 1999. Lutz started their career as a Phd student at Heinrich-Heine Universitaet Duesseldorf from January 1991 to December 1994.

Lutz Kirchrath completed their Abitur at Schlossgymnasium Benrath, Duesseldorf from 1975 to 1984. Lutz then pursued their higher education at the University of Düsseldorf, where they obtained a Diploma in biology from 1985 to 1991. Lutz'sfield of study during this period included Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics.
