Alexandra Young has extensive work experience in various government departments and agencies in Canada. Alexandra has held multiple director-level positions, overseeing policy, engagement, parliamentary affairs, international migration policy, strategic communications, public engagement, and communications. Alexandra'smost recent role is Senior Director, Policy, Engagement and Parliamentary Affairs at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Alexandra has also worked at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, Global Affairs Canada, Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, Canadian Heritage, and Human Resources and Skills Development. Overall, Alexandra Young has a strong background in policy development, communication, and engagement in the government sector.
