Luna-Martine Jean

Luna-Martine Jean has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Coordinating Member and Member at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada since October 2018. Prior to this role, Luna-Martine was employed by the Government of Canada from August 2015 to September 2018 as a Lawyer in both Recourse Advisor and Recourse Analyst positions. Previous legal experience includes work as a Lawyer specializing in Immigration & Refugee Law at Gerami Law Professional Corporation and as a Litigation Information Analyst at Aboriginal Affairs & Northern Development Canada. Early in their career, Luna-Martine served as a Law Clerk at the Federal Court. Luna-Martine holds a Master of Laws in Administrative Law from York University, a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies with minors in Political Science and Hispanic Literature from McGill University.
