ImmPACT Bio USA, Inc., is a clinical-stage company dedicated to the discovery of transformative chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies that address key biological challenges in treating cancer and autoimmune diseases. The company’s logic-gate-based CAR T-cell platforms, licensed from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Technology Development Group, are specifically designed to deplete B cells, prevent antigen escape, and overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. The company’s technology is based on the work of pioneering scientists Yvonne Chen, Ph.D., and Antoni Ribas, M.D., Ph.D., both from UCLA.
ImmPACT Bio is seeking a Person in Plant consultant for a 6-9 month assignment in Jurong, China.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Act as ImmPACT Bio’s onsite representative - Person In Plant (PIP) at the manufacturing location.
- Assist with translating between Chinese team (Mandarin Chinese) and ImmPACT US Team (US English)
- For GMP Manufacturing - Support any immediate escalations and triage at Chinese manufacturing facility that occur outside of normal business hours in California, US
- Act as ImmPACT Bio onsite representative in assisting Chinese manufacturing. team with resolving GMP investigations and events
- Support tech transfer of any new technology
- Ensure successful clinical manufacturing runs at the Chinese manufacturing site
Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in cell & gene therapy (CGT)
- Science or Engineering degree in Biological/Medical discipline
- Experience in cGMP Manufacturing, Process Development and/or MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology)
- Experienced with Deviation Investigations/CAPA, change controls, authoring batch records, process monitoring and analysis, project management, and clear concise communications with leadership and team members
- Bi-lingual – Chinese (Mandarin) and English (US)
- Be able to work in both Chinese and American (California) work hours (primarily Chinese working hours, but at times may be needed to communicate with the US team during US working hours)
