Stefanie Maurer has an extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Stefanie is currently employed at ImmuneBridge as a Senior Scientist since April 2023. Previously, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Precision Immunology Institute at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (PrIISM) from August 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they worked at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Scholar in Cancer Immunotherapy and Molecular Imaging from January 2020 to August 2021.

Stefanie's research experience also includes positions at CCU Translational Immunology DKTK / DKFZ, Partner Site Tuebingen, Dept of Internal Medicine II, UKT. Stefanie served as a Junior Research Group Leader from January 2019 to June 2020, a Postdoc from February 2018 to December 2018, and a PhD Student from July 2012 to February 2018.

Additionally, Stefanie gained research experience as a Research Intern at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in 2009 and as a Student Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology from 2008 to 2009.

Stefanie Maurer pursued their education in the field of Biochemistry. Stefanie completed their undergraduate studies as an undergraduate student at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2009 to 2010. Then, they attended the University of Tübingen from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained their Diploma in Biochemistry. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from 2012 to 2018 at DKFZ - German Cancer Research Center, Hospital of the University of Tübingen, focusing on the field of Biochemie.
